GET TO KNOW THE 24TH BOARD OF ERA
This year I will take on the role of chairman within the 24th board of ERA. At the same time I will be finishing off my bachelor in law and I will try to pass as many Double Degree courses as possible. With my lovely fellow board members I hope to do justice to the ‘principles’ that ERA stands for. I hope to develop personal skills in varying ways, such as effective teamwork, maintain a birds-eye view over an extensive group of tasks and creative problem solving.
I’m looking forward to have an amazing year with all our members, filled with philosophical discussions, self development and many fun events.
ERA, feels like coming home
This year I will be secretary in the 24th board of ERA. Next to my position in the board I have started my second year as full time philosophy student. I will also be working as a student assistant with the faculty. The coming year I will concentrate on maintaining contact with ERA-members. Once a month I will send a newsletter in which all the events for the coming month will be announced. Furthermore I manage the ERA media channels and I will always be available to answer any questions that our members have.
ERA, estrange yourself
This year I’m the treasurer of ERA. My duties are mainly focused on the financial wellbeing of the association. In addition, I hope to be a part in building a solid base for ERA, so that generations of philosophers can join our beautiful association. My focus will not be on increasing the money, but on a good administration and structure in ERA. ERA may not be the largest association, but certainly the richest. After all, a great philosopher once said: "Whoever wants to be rich must not increase his having but reduce his greed."
It was always a great pleasure to join the ERA events. From the faculty drinks to the legendary bowling-eve of ERA. I’m looking forward to welcome all of our members at the events of the coming year.
ERA, where everything is possible
Manager of internal relations
I feel honoured to be part of the board of ERA the coming year. As manager of internal relations I will be responsible for the communication towards the editors of our faculty magazine Twijfel and the Faculty of philosophy. Besides I will make sure that all goes well in our committees. With dedication and enthusiasm I hope to contribute to our philosophical paradise, where you’re on the right path if you don’t know where you’re going.
ERA, going nowhere
Manager of external relations
This year, as manager of external relations, I will maintain contact with external parties, such as sponsors or other faculty associations. Furthermore, I will be organising fun, philosophically tinted events and activities, together with the other girls from the board. I expect it to become an enriching year, during which I will not only meet many new people but also run into myself a couple of times. I’m curious to see what the future will bring. I expect it to be incredibly fun!
ERA, dig your hills in
HUGO VAN DER KOOIJ
Editor in chief Twijfel
This year I will be the editor in chief of Philosophical Faculty Magazine Twijfel. It will be my job to lead our team of editors and steer them in the direction of multiple beautiful editions of our magazine that will end up on the doormat of the members of ERA.
See you soon, on campus, or while enjoying a drink at one of our events!
ERA, super nice
